It doesn't surprise me that the two finalists on American Idol sound like EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD. And the guy that lost actually has a nicer voice. This, my friends, is why I don't care about that show. So they can sing. So what? Do they write their own music? No. Do they write their own lyrics? No. Do they have to work very hard to get noticed? No. Do they sound like the rest of the people on the radio? Yes. Impressive? Not at all. I hate British Literature with a passion.

Pretty. Odd. is oh-so-unremarkable. I haven't listened to it since before I saw Panic! in concert. I was only listening to it then so I could sing along. [Still didn't happen.] It just bores the hell out of me. Sounds like everything else. I so should have gone to see PlayRadioPlay! the other night. I need something to look forward to. Or to rave about. Oh well. =/ Facebook's weird and sort of creepy. I mean, I found some kid I haven't talked to in a billion years on there, as well as the guy I buy CDs from. ... I don't see why everyone wants to be smart. Or be with someone smart. All I want is someone with a sense of humor and good taste in music. I mean, as long as they're not like "EXPLAIN ANAL SEX TO ME" stupid [the people you find on YouTube...], I'm cool. Grades and IQ level don't matter to me... Gah. I just don't understand my generation. I like most of the kids I know, but I still don't understand how they think. :D Maybe it's because I didn't/don't watch a lot of TV or movies, and I'm not really exposed to the media as much? Ah well, I dunno. I've been listening to a lot of My Chemical Romance recently and I don't know why. Lead singers are oh-so-overrated. I mean, yeah, I love some of them, but why does everyone think it's so awesome when a guy can sing? I honestly don't understand that. I live in a world of homophobes. It pisses me off. Actually, it's like everyone either makes fun of/hates gays or they think it's cool to randomly be gay on certain days and not be gay on others. Grow up, people. Then again, most of the kids that are homophobes/gays-on-certain-days are middle schoolers. Thank God I'm almost a junior. xD

My tummy's been hurting me all day, my back hurts, I'm tired, and I really don't want to shower or pack. Tomorrow's my last real day of school, and I'm leaving early, so whoo. After tomorrow, I have my chem exam on Tuesday and then my English and math exams on Wednesday. So. That should be good. It's almost over. I'm worried about my chem exam and my algebra exam, but I think my English exam will be okay. Chem's standardized, 80 multiple choice questions, and 90 minutes long. Algebra 2's over like A BILLION subjects and it's like 50 multiple choice, a few free response, and some vocabulary. Gah. I need to study like crazy this weekend, and it's not going to be fun. Especially since I won't have internet.

It took me forever to finally fall in love with You, Me, and Everyone We Know. Like, I downloaded their EP for free on absolutepunk.net in January, and just kind of skimmed over it. But now I totally adore Livin' Th' Dream and The Press War, and I just really like the whole thing. They're coming to my city, but I have exams the next morning - wait, no I don't... I don't have a morning exam that day... Gah, I'm so totally making my friend go to that with me. =)
