The Red Paintings are some of the most inspiring people on earth. In late March this year I found out that I had won a competition to go and meet them. I had to fly up to Brisbane (because I live in Sydney) and be at the place on easter day, with about 10 or 12 other people. It was one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me because I love them so much. It is so rare for me to find a band in which I love every song, but I did. Not only did I get to meet Trash, Ellen, Amanda, David and Andy, but also Moogie and Mina Alucard, who are amazing artists that paint for them sometimes. The Red Paintings are increddible. Since I met them, I've started to get back into painting and drawing which has been awesome. In about a month I'll be seeing them again because they are doing the Animal Rebellion march through the streets of Sydney and also preforming. I'm so stoked.
