I love when you haven't listened to something in a while and then you stumble across it thinking "man, this is such a tune". Last Autumn I read the book 'Dream Brother' by David Browne; A biography of the lives of both Tim and Jeff Buckley. (Absolutely beautiful book! Go read it if you're a fan of them, if not you will be). I read the book during my daily bus ride to work and was consumed by the stories of both men and their music. I've recently left home for University and before I went I gave the book to my best friend as we are living in different cities for Uni. I wrote her a few words inside which meant a lot to me but I can't remeber what they were at all! I haven't really seen her since and listening back to Jeff's songs I have been reminded of her. As a songwriter myself, not to mention as a music lover, I respect Jeff Buckley greatly. Lyrically, he paints very colourful pictures with incredibly strong emotion. His music is the same; extremely dynamic. He's very important to me. Hope that doesn't sound too pathetic.
