So I went to the 1st Annual Rock on the Range Festival in Columbus, Ohio this weekend. Let me just say that it was unorganized but fun. I stood in line for 3 hours to get in because I knew that I needed to be one of the first 10,000 people in to get field passes (it was held at Crew Stadium--a soccer field). Breaking Benjamin was great, as usual. Buckcherry was as funny as ever. Chevelle wasn't that bad. Three Days Grace never lets me down at a show. Papa Roach was pretty good. Hinder was amazing. Velvet Revolver could have done better. Evanescence was the best (in my opinion). ZZ Top was the headliner and they weren't as good as expected. Anyways, they are talking about having it go on for 2 days next year. It's a great time and if you missed it this year, try to go next year. There were 15 bands total and 2 stages. It was about $50 a ticket but it was well worth it.
