I've been beginning to realize more and more, lately, that the reason I might like indie/alt so much is because it's the only current style of music that correlates with above average filmmaking. It's very expressionate and I often catch myself either envisioning a scene I'd like to put in one of my movies or scenes from another movie while listening to some sort of indie. For example; During the secon part of the Arcade Fire song Black Wave/Bad Vibrations I always seem to think of these clips from Alfonso Cuaron's Children of Men. Please tell me I'm not insane.
