This guy is so underappreciated it hurts. Being a Canadian I'm ashamed that we hear so much about guys like Nickelback; as if they're actually respectable musicians.. The only reason why Canada isn't looked at as a great country in the entertainment world is because we don't work hard enough at home to boost our most talented celebrities to worldwide stardom.. A guy like Matthew Good could (and does) write some of the best songs of our generation and still not be a headlining act in the US just because we don't even allow him to be a headliner here in Canada. It's pathetic, and I wish more people would realize how good Good is (Pun absolutely intended) /End Rant.

I can't believe that even now after all the music released by SDRE, The Fire Theft and Jeremy Enigk, I STILL can't find any of the albums for any of the artists above. I will always stand by all their incarnations as THE MOST UNDER APPRECIATED Bands and Artists of ALL TIME. I know a lot of teens these days like to listen to Led Zeppelin and Motley Crue and all that stuff, but in reality, to be completely candid, those bands are some of the most OVERPLAYED of all time. All I ask is to be able to walk to my nearest Music Store and be able to pick up at least something from these guys. Burning their CDs (it's hard to even find many of their songs on file share programs too!!) is not enough for me. When I respect a band, artist or whatever enough to actually want to purchase EVERY single album, EP, LP, Single, or whatever, you know I am absolutely enthralled in everything they've done. I just wish that certain people who think they know what EMO is would throw out their MCR and TBS CDs and pick up some of the stuff mentioned above. Now I'm not saying Enigk, SDRE, and The Fire Theft are the only great True Emo bands out there (Fugazi, Christie Front Drive, Jimmy Eat World) I just wish that I could get my favorites without having to order them in. Because that takes 4-6 weeks. I'm done. Thats all...
