Kurt Cobain loved Soundgarden. You can see a Soundgarden sticker on his guitar in the picture for the DVD in the "With The Lights Out" box set. Soundgarden once performed with Nirvana for a crowd of 15 in Aberdeen, Washington. The distinctive, mute-ridden rhythm for the main riff of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was first created by Soundgarden in the intro for 1988's "Mood For Trouble".
"We'll have fun as soon as we pay for what we've done
Don't spent our days like they are the last, to have a blast
To all the world should spread the word to have it heard
Endless procession of wrong or right, day and night"
