I really find this site helpful. Sometimes it can be difficult trying to get the true meaning and essence of a well-written song. The one I was having the most trouble with was the album "American Idiot" by my favorite band, Green Day. I knew it had two main meanings - a political symbolism sort of message and then just a regular story - and I could gather bits and pieces, but I couldn't put all the pieces together... I read an analysis of each type and now I really understand it. And I loved the songs to death already, but now that I know the meaning, I can see just how well-written it was!! >_> And if I were Whatsername, I would have NEVER left St. Jimmy. But that's just me.
