After all these years, I'm still digging this site. Not that I'm usually logged on. I've noticed that of the times I do log on now days, it's usually because there's a song I've looked up, and after I've scrolled through the comments, I am left devastatingly unsatisfied. Then I MUST log in to have my say. I mean, it's one thing to browse through TBS songs and read thousands of comments approximate to 'THIS SONG IS ABOUT JESSE LACEY' - that's funny. But for fucks sake, I'm done with all the stoooopid-head people who insist every last song on this website is about 'boy meets girl, shit happens, boy is sad.' (or some very similar variation) MUSICIANS DON'T WRITE SONGS ABOUT YOUR SHITTY RELATIONSHIPS! They may write songs about their shitty relationships on occasion, but they don't dedicate three consecutive albums to the friggin' cause! Christ! I can maybe forgive people on songs where it's sorta ambiguous or a little insinuated, even if they're being unimaginative and dull. But I swear to God there are people who deliberately ignore the words in certain songs and make shit up in there deluded heads so they can comment about how 'this song really relates to me and my boyfriend, it's freaky.' Yes, it is freaky. It fucking FREAKS ME OUT that you can be so BRAIN DEAD and BORING and yet be able to remember your password to be allowed to comment on this site. Breathe in, breathe out. Finally I've created a profile in SongMeanings. I've been meaning to do so for a while now, 'cause this site has actually been one of my favourites when I've wanted to search for lyrics and their meanings.
