Why do we all have to impress one another? We can't just live with the fact that everyone is different, can we? Everyone deserves the total respect of others, even if you don't like them. Expectations are killing our society, they are growing through every kind of relationship. Family, friendship and the biggest one - love. Half of the people on this earth have no clue what love is; everyone thinks they'll fall in love once they find, the most perfect person they can get their hands on - that way, they can show them off, and prove to people that they're worth it. I bet it sounds sick, but almost everyone has those expectations, so everyone is trying to be perfect - striving to show people that they will be the one in the spotlight. Its not only models who change who they are for popularity. Everything we do on a daily basis is to get noticed. No matter who you are, we just want to be loved. We want someone to take notice in us, yet this is bringing people to question their worthiness - am I worth it to have a boyfriend, or to maybe have a real friend, or even to show my family that they brought someone wonderful into this world? No one knows the answer to this, so they simply push their limit to find true happiness. But is anyone really happy? We don't know what happy is, because we've worked so hard to make it happen that it has become fake. We've come to think that money, popularity, what we wear, what we do with our hair, is happiness. All of those are unnatural. Natural happiness is the rarest thing you'll find these days. It only can be found if you can see who we really are. Someone could be beautiful, loved and cherished, but no one cares to see who she really is. No one cares to see past the looks. It's the same with someone who can be hideous, unloved, and without friends - no one just takes the time to see past their appearance. Don't you ever wonder what it would be like if everyone accepted each other? The suicide rates would be down. Don't you ever wonder what it would be like if everyone saw the real us? The beauty shop's profit would go way down. Media, friends, guys and girls are teaching us that their is nothing more to beauty and happiness then the products you purchase. If you're poor, tough luck, you don't deserve it. But is that really true? Most times the people without the most cash are the richest people on earth. They are filled with love, and inner beauty to see the real world. But because they are poor, they are simply not good enough to befriend, therefore their love goes unnoticed. Some days all we want to do is quit, give up, take the stress off. And most days that would be good to be able to do. The only problem is we can't accept that our stress is caused by our own actions, and thoughts. If we just let loose, and hung around with the girl sitting all alone once in a while, don't you think our earth, our home, would be a better place? If we all just took off our masks, and listened to what the unheard had to say, don't you think that everyone could be truly happy? We can't accept the fact of true happiness without truly knowing what it means to be real.
