oh dear lord. seriously, kids these days need to get over themselves. they're deluded into thinking they have emotional issues, they try and analyse their personalities from day one, they are overly concerned with how they look, they are completely stressed out from schoolwork and their futures..isnt the modern age horrible, haha. they even write stupid blog posts like this one :P god though, what happened to the simple things? sitting in the park with your friends. dancing round your room and singing off-key. making stupid little things out of bits of leftover clay. personalising things and not caring what anyone thinks. taking silly photos, no not "myspace poses" or overly-dramatic-far-off-gazes, a silly photo of making faces and smiling and laughing. yeah, this post actually isnt turning out how i want it to at all, so i will fix it later.

i seem like such a hypocrite, cos in earlier entries i listened to "mcr", but i have seen the error of my ways now. never again

modern music annoys me. especially in britain, I find all the music on the radio these days is either "emo" or "indie" (meaning independent, and none of these bands are..? dont get it). and its all soul-less, mass produced, identical sounding shit. it has dull, cliched lyrics - its market audience doesnt know any better. there is no real energy in the music. even the names are boring - everything begins with "the" and then has a random plural after it. examples - the hoosiers, the holloways, the enemy. emo bands are no better, "my chemical romance"? "fall out boy"? what does that even mean? from an outsiders perspective, it just looks desperate. the sad thing is, young people lap it up. it isnt cool to like your dads cd collection. it isnt cool not to like whats on the chart show. its not cool to hear lyrics like: Teenagers scare, The living shit out of me They can care less as long as, Someone will bleed and not automatically think "WOW". (seriously, it would take someone about twenty seconds to come up with that.) why? today i happened upon Patrick Wolf. he makes "new music", but it has LIFE. he knows music. he can play more than 16 instruments. he didnt just learn a few chords on a guitar, look relatively decent and get snapped up by a record company. why cant all new music be like that? i reccomend you check out "overture" by patrick wolf or maybe "bluebells" on youtube. then come and tell me that panic at the disco means something. for flamers (haha, like anyone reads this) -> amyst19@yahoo.co.uk

have recently discovered i really do quite like t.a.t.u xD haha, the school was on fire today! my teacher was so shit about it, he started complaining about the alarm and made us wait around while he got his jacket. we could SMELL SMOKE. jeez. i dont think it was anything that big anyway, just something in the technical department. i saw a melted bin. also my chemistry test got moved to next tuesday. YAS! ceildh (kay-lay for all yee non-scots) dancing starts next week so no more PE! thank god. i actually suck at it so bad. if i wanted to go to the dance then i would have to go to the ceildh dance lessons, but i sincerely doubt anyone would ask me to go so i'm fine 8D i get to go to study class instead, i think i'll probably use that for chemistry work or something. god knows i need it. they're playing hey there delilah on hollyoaks! i love that song. its way overplayed though. sammies birthday today but she went home second period cos she was ill ): i hope she gets better soon, shes been ill for a while now. there was something else i wanted to saaay but i've forgotten. its really bugging me ;_; i dont know what i want to do in the future D: i'm thinking of doing french and german at uni, and maybe media studies or psychology aswell in my first year, but i'm not sure what jobs i could get with those. i dont want to be a teacher. an interpreter might be okay, but cos internet translation etc is getting much better, i doubt there'll be a lot of need for it in the future. who knows! oh, and hi fallen leaves, its totally fine, i know what parents are like xD

listening to tatus cover of how soon is now? takes a little bit of getting used to, but it is pretty damn good. i cant say i'm a great fan of the smiths. other news..fun in biology, we did this crap talking about our answers thing in little groups, but we just took the piss out of how "team"ish we're meant to be. and we drew tunnocks teacakes, which are little scottish cakey biscuits things. damn nice! probably one of the few good things about being scottish. its boring here in glasgow. well, boring like any big city is really. in french i had to do speaking! eek! im so bad at improvisation its unbelievable. all my answers just end up as "oui" "non" or "je ne sais pas". 6 bloody years and thats the best i can come up with! i really like dakota by stereophonics. didnt listen at all in chemistry today! played hangman with frankie instead - i got "rage against the machine" in like 3 guesses, but anyway, i have this big chemistry test on friday which determines if i get kicked out or not xD haha. that'll be a laugh anyway. i NEED a haircut. i totally want a fringe.

everyone came out that chemistry test going "oh, that was pretty easy!" and i was like o____o. i couldnt get the stupid equation things at all. pas beaucoup happened today, i kicked xiang cos he started winding up my cat through the window. steve hewitt left placebo ;__; was hoping it was just a rumor, but its on placeboworld and everything now. good news though, they're starting work on placebos 6th album next spring : D cant wait already! this probably sounds so lazy, but THANK FUCK its only 2 weeks to the october week. i'm so bored of school. also wondering when they're starting ceildh dancing? i dont even get PE atm, just crappy pse where i talk to natasha all period. thats not so bad, but mrs k is all "get out your textbooks, this is a study period" so its kinda weird. another rubbish post, enjoy
