ok... this song has kept me up for ages...and after looking at the lyrics over and over again. after listing to her voice. i think...i THINK...well my idea is this: i asked my friend and she said something about a young girl...which made me think more... Child prostitution came to mind. And the girl is reporting it to an officer or someone who is known to help (knowing her other songs, it probably not a officer). at the beginning: "gravity plays favourites i know it cause i saw" something has pulled her into this awful position, and she is picked as a favourite [?] (not quite sure about the favourites bit) “down at work I’m getting too familiar with the floor/trading in(my version) my talents by the mouthful” her work is prostitution and its becoming a regular thing-blow jobs “Hate to break it to you but it’s out of my control.
