Concrete Angels.
by xSaveTheLastDancex on May 12, 2007Now ten stories high
Not but concrete below
The bellows of the pedestrians
The squawks of the crows
The eyes are staring
The ears listening to calls
The sirens are coming
The children are screaming “don’t fall”
They’ve spotted me
In all my pride
One foot on the railing
leaning over the side
The sirens are coming
The police are running up the stairs
The silence is deafening
If I fall I don’t think they’d really care
I’m now stepping over
My arms are spread out
The women are screaming
I have no last second doubts
I feel a sudden impact
I see myself as what I want to be
My senses are failing
Black is all that I can see
Now that I have fallen
That light never did come
I lie now in the darkness
I guess this would be karma to some.
