"I'm not saying it's a bad song, or anything like it. All i'm saying is. Take a broom, dip it in break fluid shove the other end up my arse put me on a trampoline in a moving lift and i'd write a better song on the walls." - Dylan Moran I feel we can apply that to most music around today. Amazing how all of my journals are done in the early hours of the morning. Well, maybe not. I suppose i'm just a typical student. Though i'd like to think not. Typical students dont have my taste in music (How arrogant of me) Though i really do think so. I'd like a count of how many students on my campus right now are listening to Mogwai - Happy Songs For Happy People (Get me with the album title) I still refuse to talk about my feelings in these damn things, no-one wants to read that shit. I for one dont care who dumped who and who is having trouble with their parents or whatever the hell you people moan about in these damn journals. Its about music not MySpace. My music supply has been running pretty dry as of late. Nothing new coming my way. Got a hold of a few real copies of albums i already own, otherwise nothing new to report. Need to find a nice new band to sink my teeth into. Isis went a long way in recent months, but ineed something new. Maybe some Aereogramme, but by default i cant buy an Areogramme because i know who they are. First rule of buying new music - By a band you've never heard of. Otherwise whats the point? Dattabayo!

Journals will be few and far between for the next few weeks. I can tell you're all gutted, i would be. I'm back in Aber for a day to collect something i forgot then go back home. But i can't leave without a few beers with a few friends. It's good being in PJM in the middle of the easter break. I can play my music (which at this very moment is Hurt - 'Rapture') as loud as i want without the bastards from next door telling my "turn it down". Anyways. To the pub! Dattebayo!

See, i told you number one would be along shortly. (Counting from zero remember) I hate april fools. Not because i keep getting tricked, far from it. The internet has made it far to easy to make up an april fool. digg.com for example. It just made the site completely unreadable for day. Not that its all that readable anyway. Whole place is full of damn wee fanboys. (See 'Why?' post) Either way, atleast i can relax for a bit now. Heading home for a few weeks. If the weather stays like this i'll be playing lots of football. The real version, the one you play with your feet that requires some skill and thought. I point blank refuse to call it soccer. Actualy saying that makes me a bit a hypocrite. I'm a goal keeper. Feel i like i should be saying something about music. But ive got nothing at the moment. Damnit, without my computer for three weeks. Thats a fair bit of music i'll be without. But atleast i'll have a better sound system. But i cant take my basses back. Oh yeah, i forgot about that. I play bass, have done for about 6 years. I'm alright. Good but there are obviously people better than me. I'm not the next Mark King. (Bassists, look him up there is no better. If you think theres someone better, you are wrong. There is no opinion. Mark King is the finest bassist to ever grace the face of the planet. Ive seen him live 9 times, trust me on this one) I havent been nearly cynical enough in this post. Dattebayo!
