I added the lyrics to Hanne Hukkelberg's album "rykestraße 68" and as ypu can tell by the lyrics from the song "Pynt" which are in another language I didn't transcribe these myself. Luckily all the lyrics where on her official site so all I did was copy them here. I tried to leave them alone as much as possible but there were a few mistakes and some background lyrics thatwere missing. Oh another subject for some reason the music in my head has been turned up to 11 lately. My usual practice is when a song pops into my head I listen to it. Thats the only way to get it out of my head. Lately the opposite has been happening. I listen to the song and it resonates and I'm forced to listen to the song over and over again. Last night I decided to just let the song play in my head figuring it would wear itself out. Unfortunately the song only played louder and louder. Once it started to become deafening I decided to cut it off and band it from my mind all together. Strangely enough when I did this I started to hear children's voices echoing as if they were playing in a hallway. This turned out to be the background sounds that play at the start of one on Hanne Hukkelberg's songs. My mind has a mind of it's own. P.S. I swear I'm not crazy!

  • How I screwed it up

There have been a few songs that I have been hesitant to add to SM because I wasn't sure if I had the lyrics right. I've had a track record of hearing some words completely wrong so I don't want to subject people to my mistakes. For that reason I didn't submit a couple of songs by Deb Talan and Laura Veirs when I submitted most of the lyrics for the albums they didn't have lyrics for. I was finally able to figure out a couple of words from one song by each that I had been struggling to finish. In Laura veir's "Blackbird Pie" I was finally able to figure out that she said 'alder side' in one verse so I submitted it. And for Deb Talan's "A Good Day's Work" I wasn't sure if she said 'dust' or 'thus' or whatever but I submitted hoping someone who may understand it better will correct me later. There are still a few songs that I have mostly transcribed but I want to be sure for my own piece of mind before I submit the lyrics. Just 2 left really. "Toe" by Laura Veirs and "Wild Horse" by Deb Talan and i'll be done.
