Xbox 360 aquired. I now have GTA4, and will be getting Skate 2 or Banjo-Kazooie soon. Kinda euphoric, kinda bleh, it's weird.

"Explode" by Uh Huh Her for the motherfridging win. I've begun watching Season 5 of The L Word online. I'm three episodes in. SPOILER ALERT!! AHH WTF HELENA?!?!?! WHY IS SHE LEAVING? That's so lame! I loved Helena! And she's leaving with Dusty who we know little to nothing about! She better reappear later on in the show. Gah!!! But epic lol at Shane, man I love her. And Jenny is a fucking genius. I love you, Mia Kirshner. In other news, I got myself a new computer! And by myself I mean myself. I bought a little netbook computer. I'm on it right now actually. Weeee. It's really cool, I love it so freakin' much. It'll help me out with my course in Journalism. A nice little dent in my bank account, but hey, I've wanted this for months. It's worth it. Other than that, I'm saving up for an Xbox 360 I think. Maybe before I get that I should get myself a small flat screen TV? Or save up majorly and get both?! Ooohhh, decisions, decisions.

Hmmm. I'm concealling details from people. Interesting... I think it's for the best. I still need to make more progress on my portfolio. I'm going to do some editing and all this morning I've decided, before I go out to lunch. I'm enjoying my free days while I still have them. Really liking "Someday Soon" by Natalie Bassingthwaighte. Too bad I can only find a low quality version of it. I just found out her album will be released mid-Feburary. I'll definitely check it out. It's funny, because I'm listening to the song over and over again, but right after her in my iTunes is Necrophagist, so then all of a sudden it blasts into something completely different. xD I've been listening to a lot of pop lately actually. Maybe it's to do with the summer?

Finally, a day where I'm just relaxing at home. It's given me time to sift through whatever pieces of writing I have and find some of the best - figure out what I should edit and revamp. To be honest, I kind of miss doing nothing.

New Years - saw two sets of legal fireworks, many illegal ones too, surrounded with some of my favourite people in the world. An incredible night. I have to prepare a portfolio for my upcoming course in Media Journalism. Easy. I can do soft news or hard news, I'm going to do a mix. I'll write up as much as I possibly can then pick an assortment. Sweet. Slowly, I'm moving towards my promotion. I'm doing a manager shift on Friday, which is awesome. xD I worked New Years Day too, which also comes with double time. Mmmm, money. I really just needed to type up a quick update on myself, for the sake of not neglecting this. I have to go straighten my hair now. :P
