This last saturday i went to Power to the Peaceful in San Francisco. i wish i had gone for the whole day, or longer, because it was pretty incredible. SO many people were there. but the reason i went was to see Michael Franti. he was just as amazing as he was when he performed at my high school... so inspired and hopeful with such a great message. when he sang "One Step Closer" he said that people who are here with their friends should link arms, just like he did the first time. its always sweet. anyway, he is amazing and everyone should go to Power to the Peaceful 2008!

i just got back from seeing death cab... they were so amazing. possibly the best concert i've ever been to. you'd think they might be kinda mellow and quiet, but they rocked like no other! there was like a 5+ minute interlude befor the last verse of "we looked like giants" where they just brought down the house with guitar and drums. loud. and awesome. and their sound quality was excellent and they had great stage presence and colored lights and enthusiasm and wow i am still in a daze. they were just absolutely incredible. everyone should go see them!!!!
