Songs inspire us. I mean - think about it. If they didn't why else would we listen to them? Everything around us has an impact on us some way or another. I think besides people, music is one of my biggest inspirations. Even if you're not really listening to the words, the music itself can effect our moods, trigger memories, or inspire hopes and dreams. In fact, it is almost certain it will. And once you start to listen to the words - and I mean listen to them not just hear them - it is just amazing.
