Nice boyfriend my ass. We broke up. Oh well. I wasn't super upset. I made a promise to myself when we did and it was real super simple ok: be more flirtatious. Stupid, right? I feel stupid for admitting it, but it's true. I've never felt comfortable but the occasion when I have let myself go and flirt, it's fun and I'm ok. So. I went to see Harry Potter at midnight for my friend's birthday [[it's two days b efore mine]]. She brought along a friend the rest of us didn't know, and me and this friend just clicked. We hung like the entire time. And so we sat from the rest of them just 'cause, and there was a guy sitting next to her that we were flirting with the entire time. It was funny 'cause I'm not even 15 yet and he had to be at least, I don't know, 20. It was actually pretty funny at least. So I was proud I kept my promise to myself but dude we stayed up like ALL NIGHT. I am like dying right now. Me && friend [[that I sat next to in the theatre]] played Chutes && Ladders and Guess Who? and Scrabble...and we all watched Eurotrip which was a pretty good movie. Scotty doesn't know, Scotty doesn't know, Scotty doesn't know... So yeah that's been about it. My birthday is tomorrow and I'm really excited...and then my party is on Saturday, so that rocks my world. We're gonna see Harry Potter again but hey, it was a pretty good movie. So yeah, rock on, I guess. Peace outtttt!

So I'm turning 15 on Thursday. For some reason, I'm regarding it as importantly as one would regard their 16th, or 21st. I feel as if I've grown up the past year and really discovered who I am. So, I have new year of life and a fresh start with the new me. So I feel really good about that and really good about working on my character, my personality, and my flaws. So I'm super excited especially because I'm having a "party" and seeing Harry Potter next Saturday and inviting a bunch of people. So that'll be super exciting...basically I'm most excited about getting a permit and learning how to drive. There's not much that I want to rant about. I'm not feeling down on myself. I have a nice boyfriend, so I'm not having boy troubles. I haven't had any recent fallings-out with my friends. I still love God. Me and my parents have been getting along well lately. I have all day off tomorrow and I plan to lie around and read... so that's pretty much it. Ciao for now, I guess, until I can think of something better to see. Peace out?

  • Every Word Bon Scott Sings Comes Straight From God

    by .Three.Lefts. on July 06, 2007
Why yes, I DO happen to be obsessed with AC/DC. How kind of you to notice. However, I must say, Back In Black (the CD) irks me for the very fact that it's not Bon Scott singing. I mean, I like Brian Johnson and everything...I mean, he's bad ass, but I think I'm in love with Bon Scott. And he's dead. This may be a problem. And plus, I don't think God likes AC/DC. 'Cause of the whole "Highway to Hell" thing, I don't know. Or mayhap "Hells Bells". Just an inkling. So, I finished A Clockwork Orange, and the ending kicked such major booty that I nearly cried. I wanted Alex to be one of MY droogs. So nothing much has been up. I went to the book store today and bought Last Exit To Brooklyn by Hubert Selby Jr. I got this book because he wrote Requiem For A Dream, which I didn't read, but I watched the movie, and it kicked ass. I LOVE Ellen Burstyn. So, I was going to get Requiem For A Dream but A) Last Exit To Brooklyn is considered a better work and B) Last Exit To Brooklyn was cheaper So, I haven't started reading it, but it sounds so good. It's basically six short stories, and they're all about drug use and prostitution and homosexuality and alcoholism and the underbelly of Brooklyn. Plus, he writes in a really cool style...actually, just look Hubert Selby, Jr. up on Wikipedia, I don't think you'll be sorry. The other book I got was the Grimms Brother's fairy tales. I already read some of the more popular ones. I loooove fairy tales and short stories. =D So I didn't do anything for the fourth, because...well, I mean, I saw Ratatouille, but I didn't see any fireworks or anything. I mean, I've just never been patriotic and it depresses me to see a bunch of people just blindly worshipping their country. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather live in America than anywhere else. But I just think we claim to be more than we are. We're overall a good country, but "liberty and justice for all" takes it a bit far when homosexuals still aren't allowed to marry. At least that's what I think, and since I live in America, I could even start a fuckin' protest for it. And a march. And I could give a speech. I have a dream...that ONE DAY...homosexuals will be allowed to get married... No, I'm personally not gay, but I just think it's wrong, you know, not to let people who love each other get married. But I'm blabbering again. If you've read all of this, congratulations. Keep on rocking in the free world. Peace out? No stop signs Speed limits Nobody's gonna slow me down Like a wheel Gonna spin it Nobody's gonna mess me around Hey Satan! Paid my dues Playin' in a rockin' band Hey mama! Look at me! I'm on my way to the promised land... I'm on a highway to Hell
