i know at this point is it preety old but i just love it and it is full of meaniing in it:“Heads or tails and fairytales in my mind. Are we we are, are we we are, the waiting unknown. The rage and love, the story of my life.” Are We the Waiting- by Green Day, a great song full of meaning. First, all of them are shouting, wanting to know what they are waiting for. It’s really the curse of all of us, especially the current generation. Secondly, I think it's us, it's our life span, we’re the waiting, we're waiting for things to change, we're waiting until we can change it. It’s like Green Day has came to wake up the population, to tell them that life could be better than this. They are asking themselves if they are, “the waiting”, because Green Day has been hoping so long, to get out of the agony, (with the band and trying to make a difference), that was their life, until they decide to leave it all in hopes of finding something better. I will never truthfully know who, “we”, are but to me I think it is every single person on the universe that means wealthy and poor, intelligent and impaired, everyone. i di this song for school that is how much i love this song.
