• They're all made out of ticky tacky

I'm just posting this to rant about people not giving credit to the original artist. Malvina Reynolds is an example of what happens when somebody else is more popular. People are commenting more on Pete Seeger's copy of the song, rather than hers. I mean, COME ON anybody who's watched and researched Showtime's Weeds enough should know this, since HER version of the song was played all the time on season 1. Seems like everyone around me are the same; They hear something, and they talk without adequate research. With this in mind, guess I'm not made of ticky tacky then, am I?

First, for those that say the below is TOO MUCH READING, read on. There's no such thing as "Too much reading." Alright, I was looking through many of the logged comments on their songs, and many of them, for the most part refer to drugs and sex. That's all fine and good and all, but people should be looking at some songs (like Soldier Side) from a more... Armenian perspective. If you look at most of their songs from Hypnotize, you can really make great connections to the genocide and the raging war in Kosovo that killed off many Armenians long ago. The majority of their stuff is death metal, but unlike a whole bunch of the death metal on market, it has purpose. It has reason. It inspires you to make a damn change in this doomed planet of ours. Alas, all good things have to end, and as such, System finally decided to break off and do other things. In the meantime, listen to Serj on solo and Scars on Broadway...
