To me this song is about a relationship. He's saying that he helped them out and brought them out of a shell, maybe. Then they turned their back on him and left him "holding the bag". I don't know. I'm going thru something just like this and it seems as if "she's" turning her back on me now that she's not in the shell I found her under. I se the "druggie" part to this song and so it could be about that too. This Cd is so bad ass for inspiration while feeling like shit!
