    Aimee Mann's new album is The Forgotten Arm. The title refers to a boxing trick of feigning weakness in one arm which is then used to deliver the knockout. I have written about "Dear John" and the earlier "Jacob Marley's Chains" today.

  • I touch myself

    And today a&v29 joined as well. Inevitably I have commented on the DiVinyls' "I touch myself." I note they are also listed without the capital V - some mistake surely. I also commented very briefly on "Imagine" by John Lennon although I could go on about that one forever. Momentum by Aimee Mann I looked at Mansun but so far haven't made any comments. To be honest I am waiting until there are more comments for example from A who is an expert on Mansun

    Well I joined this site today because I want to discuss and find out about song meanings. I am a teacher in the UK and posted about Snow Patrol's Run (which has a personal meaning for me!) Driving Sideways and Nothing is Good Enough by Aimee Mann. I may not use this journal much but it is handy. 125876 members. Blimey!
