So I'm new to this site. Actually I come across it every once in a while when looking for lyrics, but didn't bother signing up. Then I found it pretty rad and decided to join in the fun. Um, yeah, my favourite bands are: Guster, Elliott Smith, Crowned King, The Shins, and Closet Monster. I love lots of different kinds of music, mostly into Alternative, Ska, and Political Punk, as you maybe can tell. I also like lots of; grunge, punk, rock, metal, britpop, orchestral/instrumental, acoustic, emo, and lots of independent bands noone's heard of and local bands from my town. My oldest brother is my main musical influence. He got me into The Shins, NIN, Depeche Mode, Eric's Trip, The Cure, and Modest Mouse types of music, which is a huge part of my life now. All other music that I like is just influenced by myself. I love going to ska and punk concerts the most. Skank pits are the best. I tend to hate radio type music. Ashlee Simpson and Nelly (and well I hate most rap) and the like. It's useless and has no point to it, whereas I like music with a reason (for the most part). I like people with talent that actually care for their fans, and try hard to get where they are (unlike Ashlee). I used to really be into poppunk but I've gone far from it now, as I hate that it's ALL OVER THE PLACE and lots of it is pure crap now. I hate the trends too. They ruin bands. Lots of losers are liking bands I like because it's played on MTV and shit channels now. I also hate Much Music, as they are turning INTO MTV. I don't mind the radio, because I listen to the local University station. Actually we don't even have a pop/trendy shit channel anymore, as they changed the last one to old rock and metal. HA. Good. The trendy fucks are now probably crying their stupid eyes out. Speaking of crying eyes out. I hate the new EMO trend! FUCK! Who DOESN'T like friggin Dashboard Confessional now! I hate Dashboard so much, and the people that make it a trend to be sad. Especially when all of a sudden this person changes to look so goddamn emo. Fuck you.
