Hey Guys. I was looking on songmeanings.net like i seem to do alot these days. I was looking at one of my favorite acoustic songs - Blue In The Face by Alkaline Trio. I always thought it was about a girl/relationship and thats it. But I was reading peoples comments and someone said it was about coke. At first I was like no way! But then I was like hm.... it kinda does make since. But yeah. I saw Are We There Yet? with the most lovelyest person in the world last night - Weslynn Diiixon. I love her so much. And her dad. (sorry I could'nt resist saying that I know he hates me) Im sorry your dad gets mad at you because of me. Iloveyou. Goodbye

I decided to listen to a band I havent listened to in a while now. I fell in love with them again. If your wondering who it is its At The Drive In. They broke up a while back. But now their are two other great bands that sound similiar to them - Sparta and The Mars Volta. I believe Sparta has like 3 members from At The Drive In in it but im not shure. If anyone wants to talk to me IM me on AIM - AutumnsRedTears or Yahoo - RawRockKills777

  • January 29, 2005 Alkaline Trio = "Sell Outs" ?

by AutumnsRedTears on January 29, 2005
I just signed up on songmeanings.net its a pretty cool site. although i strongly disagree with what alot of people say about bands. i was looking at the song Private Eye by Alkaline Trio one of my favorite bands. i hate it when people say a band "sold out" because they got on mtv or stupid stuff like that. saying a band "sold out" is the stupidest thing to say about a band. think about it. if you were in a band and was making about 25,000 a year and got offered to be on a bigger label and make about 50,000 a year which would you choose. its completely stupid not to choose 50,000. who cares if a band gets big. i understand if its a band like AFI and they totally change their sound like AFI did on the cd "Sing The Sorrow" but Alk hasn't changed very much. they are still a great band.
