I'm not an anarchist. Really, I'm not. I was reading this post for Holiday (Green Day) and it was kinda somewhat hurtful... I mean, I like the idea of anarchy and kinda having a utopian society where people can get along without hurting or killing each other, but that's not likely to happen in today's world. But I'm not an anarchist. If anything, I'm Marxist. Okay, albeit, not an extreme Marxist, but Marxist nonetheless... Like, I believe that the government should play more of a role in the people's lives. I think that our society shouldn't be a Social Darwinistic capitalist sort of thing. We should be here to help each other out. Not kick the poor around like the dirt under our shoes. But on the same token, our government should not be tyrannical (like most Marxist societies must call for). The government should never be THAT involved in people's lives. No, I am not being a hypocrite and contradicting myself. I just want our government to have a better way of doing things. People tend to make their way to the top of the economic chain and then they bat down everyone trying to climb that ladder as well. They figure, "If I made it here, then they should be able to as well. On their own." And hell no, I am not speaking for the entire wealthy population. Just the people that I know and live around/with. Hence my reason for rebellion... which I don't think I've really talked about. But whatever. All I'm saying is that people shouldn't lump other people into some sort of bracket when they really don't know them. It's lame and assumptive and too conclusive when you don't have any real window into our lives. There. My rant is done. Erm... For now at least..... :D Cheers!!!

Okay, so I just joined a couple of hours ago and figured that doing homework was getting to be a little too droll for my liking.... So I decided to come back here and post something... I got the latest Green Day album for X-mas and I've been listening to it like, non-stop for the past couple days (okay, not true... I've been listening to The Killers and Weezer and Franz Ferdinand... but that's not the point... Lol...). And I used to LOVE Boulevard of Broken Dreams... As in, it used to be my favorite Green Day song, but now that I've listened to the entire album (many, many, many, many times over...) I've found that Holiday has replaced that song as my favorite... I mean, it's just so poignant and I totally identify with it (and the entire album as well...)... But I guess it probably helps that I fucking hate George Fucking W. Bush as well, doesn't it? Lol.... Well, I should split.... Cheers!
