Survived the holiday. Coming down off a sugar high, hope I'm asleep when I hit the bottom. The Holiday was great, a little quick for my taste. Next year I'm going to try to cut down on the anticipation. In other words, I'll procrastinate preparing like I always do... Back to work today. What a fucking drag that is. My family is all home and comfy-cozy and I'm out in that cesspool of chaos we call "occupation", dealing with the idiot parade. Just throw the freaking candy.

In an attempt to parlay (always wanted to use that word) some of my annual Holiday delerium, I have chosen to sit here and record some musical thoughts. My thoughts are kind of tied up in Christmas tunes at the moment and for some odd reason when I start humming or singing this year I catch myself stuck on Madonna's "Santa Baby". Good God. I need to replace that with, um, uh, how about "Baby Please Come Home (For Christmas)" by U2. Maybe I'll go check out those lyrics... If you're reading, I wish you a Happy, Happy Christmas.
