College is a weird experience. It's easy to drown in the swarm of warm bodies, especially as a freshman. It seems like there's always a force acting down on you, and you wonder what's the point? Sometimes I'd rather lay down and let it crush me.

It's funny how much music is influenced by relationships and girls. I'm finding it a lot easier to write songs about such things because of the emotion they bring out. I get inspired when I feel strongly about something. In fact, I think that's the case for anyone. Perhaps this is the reason so many songs are written about relationships. They are real and everyone can relate to them, because sooner or later you're going to get hurt and there will be a song waiting for you.
