so i just got back from seeing my favorite band ben kweller play. he is seriously the cutest guy ever when he is playing. I miss the good old days when he was much less known and would come out to talk to his fans for hours. now you are lucky to see him after a show at all. usually i do get to hang out with josh though which is ben's bass player. apparently though he broke his wrist the day before while they were playing wiffleball. so we didnt get to see any of the band. for the show though, ben ususally plays with his band but this time it was just him. i thought that it wouldnt be as good of a show - but boy was i wrong. it really just proved what an amazing performer that ben is. i only wish he would have played longer.
