• . Bored at work today I started thinking about the time when the sun decides to go nova and engulf it all. Taking with it all the evidence of every life that ever existed here. Every king, every peasant, every rocket maker, every politician, every poet, every critic, every scientist and zealot. All the struggles, all the joys, all the wars, famines, heartbreaks, births, deaths, marriages, every piece of art ever created, every structure we've ever stood in awe of, and all the work days spent counting the hours down. I guess it's all just counting down.... down down down.... until the sun decides it has had enough. I also thought briefly about who would win in a fight between Ash from Evil Dead and Duke Nuke'em. If it was a bare knuckled brawl I'd have to go with Duke since Ash is missing a hand. But if Ash could use his chainsaw hand attachment then he is clearly the favorite. Right? .
