So once again I find myself in your arms. You're softly snoring in my ear and I inhale and hold my breath. My eyes feel vacant in liquid desperation a prayer held in trembling stars..and wondering if we've gone to far. And you will comfort me, but don't you think I know that you can see me crumbling, but you are merely watching me. And we tell ourselves that love will conquer all things like loneliness and heartache, forgiveness of all our mistakes and you will do nothing but serve up emtpy gestures and I will turn into glass reflected images waning. And you will say to me that everything is okay when you can see me suffering. Yet- you are merely watching me.
