• The title of this journal entry sounds almost like a banner over a way into something.  I suppose that's what it is.  

  
  Or perhaps it's a cop-out.  After all, the "thing" prompted me to "Give (the) entry a title, and that's what I did.
  
  Maybe I could have called it "Lord", or "Baron".   Those are both titles.
  
  I don't have any idea if this will be the only entry.  Will there be more?  Perhaps it's only going to be known by returning at some point in the future.
  But this will always be the first.  Perhaps a banner is not such a bad idea after all.

  A bold banner emblazoned with beatific bombast, unfurled amidst the roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd, scorched by cannon-fire, bravely snapping in the wind, lifted high and singing victory to the skies, a banner to unite the scattered remnant and the unfallen comrades at the foot of the hill of the unwritten future.
