  • My betrothal was to death

    My ailment borne in credence

    Coerced into immolation

    Inebriated by my ambition

    Plagued is my affection

    And dead is my spirit

    I dream the years by

    And I lament my decency

    The curse was my culture

    And my adversary the antidote

    Morality has been tainted

    In death it would subside

    Catatonic my existence

    But aged is my lore

    I'm unable to sympathize

    In my search for oportet

    Righteous was my cause

    And deceitful was my manner

    I became an anchorite

    Void of panacea

    Boundless is my insomnia

    And algid is my blood

    One day I'll forget you

And on that day I'll sleep again
