Got a bag with a toothbrush and a comb in
When I'm a good dog they sometimes throw me the bone in.
I got nicotine stains on my fingers
I got a silver spoon on a chain
'Got a grand piano to prop up my mortal remains
I got wild staring eyes
And I got a strong urge to fly
But I got no where to fly to.
Oooh babe, why not pick up the phone?
There's still nobody home.

No, I'm not feeling meloncholy about losing my love. My love-life is as perfect as it will ever get, couldnt be happier. No, I feel like this sometimes with myself. That I'm inside my head watching everything go on around me, almost like watching a movie... but it's not real. Nothing is. Or at least that's how it seems sometimes. I know that's not what this song is about (not what Waters intended anyway,) but this is how I'm feeling and this song just came to mind so here I am.
I have lost confidence in myself. I have lost everything.
