I am listed on here as Katniss Everdeen to keep things private first of all. I would like to share with other people why The Hunger games is not only a good movie but an even better book.
The was suzanne Collins writes the book she makes the characthers (examples: Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark (my favorite), Gale Hawthorne, Prim(rose) Everdeen) seem very realistic. To parents this would be a good book for Middle schoolers or children 11+. The way some people may describe the book as cruel and violent isn't really what the premise of the book is about!!! It is mainly a story about a girl who must go through many tasks to get back home and survive the Hunger Games (spoiler AlERT******) who has to Team Up with the baker's son Peeta Mellark so she can win the Hunger Games. So it is basically a struggle for a young 17 year old girl who has to overthrow the Capitol to get back home********
