I was out paving our future,with
the thought of how happy you
would be. I stuck my face in a
book, a pen in my hand,hard at
work. I had cold nights and lonely
days, we talked everyday and that
kept me going. So I saw a couple
of curves besides yours but those
that stuck in my mind were
parabolic or exponential. While I
was away My heart was with you,
my mind had you on it. My eyes
saw no
beauty that stood its ground as
yours.
While I was away, i trully never left
you. The distance I walked every
night as I lay asleep to be with
you, the time my mind spent
speaking endlessly with you.
Surely I was always home
