For as long as I can remenber, I've loved the song, "Fireflies" by Owl City. The utter nonsense of the lyrics, the fact it always played on the radio, and one of my favorite acts fromm America's Got Talent, the one kite flyer guy, did a routine to it. Why not like it?
Well, when I saw the album at the libary that had Fireflies on it, I grabbed it without even considering, and dumped the whole album onto my ipod. After listening to Fireflies a few times, out of boredom I decided to listen to the first few seconds of each song.
I ended up listening to the whole darn album.
I don't know why I like Owl City. Maybe because they're just so different. I mean, what other music group has the verse, "Hello Seattle, I am an mountineer, in the hills and highlands. I fall asleep in hostipal parking lots, and awake in your mouth."?
Owl City (and how I fell in love with them)
