and recite the words of the fable
sweep your dresses across the floor
breathe the air of sweet lenore
ghostly fog of my past
would come at me hard and fast
startled awake into this wintery day
with dew drops rested on a patch of hay
smelling it from far away with a hint of distain
through my transluscent curtains, i saw the rain
crashing down onto my window pane,
down onto the cobblestone lane
got up and said "yep its morning"
the worms be crawling
upon the dark pits where early birds peck above
to be devoured is a sign of love
love of the earth, and the cycle that flows
like recycled rain below, though only god knows
where ts all goes, though could i hear the birds singing their sweet tune
listeing i took a quick turn about the room
and then went back to sleep.
take a turn around the table
