• Found another awesome band by listening to the radio again. I know I always say I hate the mainstream, but I think this local radio station plays pretty good stuff. Does this mean I'm turning mainstream? I'm not sure. Anyways, this band is called Local H. They're kind of grungey, almost post-grunge, with some heavy alternative. Typical 90's band. My favorite song by them is "Bound For The Floor," even though it is quite repetitive. It's fun to sing along to, I guess. My other favorites are "Jesus Christ! Did You See The Size Of That Sperm Whale?", "Nothing Special", "'Cha!' Said The Kitty", "Freeze-Dried (F) Fries", and the angsty "Back In The Day". Their version of Britney Spears's "Toxic" is alright, I suppose, even though they can't sing it like Britney. But who cares about singing? Their music alone is pretty rad. Yes, I just said rad. Going back to school on Monday. Not really excited. It will be the first day of the third quarter, which means I'm getting a couple new classes. I believe I am getting P.E. (again) and Computers. Fuuuun. At least I'm getting out of that horrible Successful Teens class. It was like freaking therapy in there; I could not stand it. Especially when all my teacher wanted us to do was talk about our feelings (which I like to keep to myself, thank you very much) and watch episodes of "If You Really Knew Me". Don't get me wrong, some of the things we did in that class were pretty fun, but they got aggravating really fast. Chao.
