I've been listening to two albums tonight that have been utterly lovely. Tim Williams' 'When Work Is Done' is so honest. The stories that play out in my mind are dreamy yet so realistic. It's like a gambit of the emotions we feel. The search for a cure for loneliness or something.
I was so in awe that I started transcribing lyrics, which I've submitted. I especially like "I'm Wearing It," and "Bills." There are such simple, heartwrenching truths here.
And Twin Shadow's 'Forget,' is this dreamy look into relationships. I was bopping my head along with the new wave beats instantly.
Good albums that I would recommend to anyone in an instant.
