Music.

  • I hate it when scenie-weinies, or anyone for that matter, claim to like certain music that they know absolutely nothing about. Now, you may have seen my pictures and been like "Oh she's so scene, ew." Okay, I'm NOT scene; I have never CLAIMED to be scene. Nor do I want to be LABELED as scene. Scene people tend to piss me off, actually. Js. Because as I stated earlier, they seem to follow trends. Perfect example : Bring Me The Horizon. I've liked them since the 6th grade? Sometime around then; When they released TIWTEOYSWMF and then all of a sudden when Suicide Season came about, they blew it up and took it all to shreds. Okay, Suicide Season wasn't even that great. They will never be as good as they were with Count Your Blessings. And as for "There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret". I bought it. And I love it; I definitely think they're just growing up. It's pretty sick. I also hate how the new 'BR00T4L" thing is to hate them. Seriously. Fuck off. People will like what they want. And you claim you're a hard-ass by bring them down? If you don't like it, then don't listen to it. Be mature and keep your mouth shut. Oh yeah. I also hate when people wear band tees and know nothing about the band, or only know ONE song by them (most likely their single). It really pisses me off. Or when people claim to listen to 'screamo'. Screamo died a while ago; It was a real genre. It still is, but I don't really think much has been created since about 2003 or so. The whole point of this rant was to intend that you understand how much I actually know and care about music. And people posing or conforming to what makes them 'cool'. So just be yourself and like the music you want. I'm not even afraid to say that I like country; It's not my typical genre, but I still like it sometimes. If you want my typical genres: Post-hardcore. Death-core. Metal-core. Acoustic. Dubstep. Whatever the fuck Jonny Craig is in. And whatever I tweet about; Haha.
