  • I am at work. Today is a slow day. This morning we had one lesson. We went to the driving range and practiced. I tried some trick shots. I succeded on most of them. Recently, I put a 56° club in my bag. Or a sand wedge. My other sand wedge is really old. So I'm going to give it to The First Tee. I also, about a month ago, or two, got a new pitching wedge. I did have a whole set of Linear Force by Dunlop clubs, but I lost, or misplaced (still not sure) my pitching wedge. So now I have a Cleavland Special 49° Reg. 588 Tour Astin (spelling might be wrong). It's nice. Plus with a nice MacGregor Bobby Grace putter and a 9° Warrior diver, I'm well off. I need more help with my irons. Especially around 150 yards from the hole. I can drive, chip on from around 100 yards, and long putt really well. But I'm not good with shots around 150 yards back or short putts around 3-7 feet. I'll screw it up big time. I'll practice sometime during the rest of this week. It's 3:24 PM now. I think I have a class coming up. Maybe at 4:00. I'll ask. We will play on the course. I'm pretty sure. I'll ask the main coach, Matthew. Mentioned him earlier. Not sure if I mentioned his name. Oh, well. I am getting a haircut later today too. I'm leaving the course a little bit early because I think I get it at 6:30 PM at Fantastic Sam's. It's beside a Starbuck's and Jimmy Johns. Two places I don't think I've ever been to. The phone just started to ring. I'm not going to get it. One cguy named Scott came in. He works for Parks and Recreation. Or for kids. Not sure. I'm not sure what they're talking about (on the phone). They just hung up. My mom is going to register me over at school today. She should leave right after work. She has about a 15 minute drive. That's not too far. From my house it's only about 8 minutes. Depending on traffic and getting stuck behind EVERY LIGHT. That is really annoying. It causes some people to get late to school. Especially if they live a good ways away. I have a friend, Gary, who lives out in the rural area, has about an hour to be on the bus. Which really sucks for him. Also a few other friends live out that way. Poor them. I just found out my class is at 4:00. Now in 28 minutes. Plenty of time to keep writing. I am curious how many holes we are going to play today. Probably three. Since there are a good amount of people here. I think. I'm going to look now. There are 20 cars. Minus one because Scott just left. So 19. Then plus the people that are coming to lesson. But they are not here yet. This computer I'm typing on seems like it is older, but it might be fairly new. I'm not quite sure. But I'm not worried about it. Not a big deal. The wind is blowing south today. So when we go on hole 1, the wind will be behind us. So I could get a good 250-275 yard drive today. Possibly. The wind, I'll guess, is around 3 1/2 speedwise. It felt nice and cool outside earlier, now it's warmer. It might be cool now since it's later in the day. I ate at Chick-fil-A again today. Same old, same old. Three times in a row. I eat pretty slow, and Matthew was finished and I was only halfway finished with the chicken sandwhich meal. One of the main reasons we keep going to Chick-fil-A is because his wife, Allsion, works there later in the day and he has a lot of free meal passes. It's the number 1. Pretty good. I'll get tired of it about the fifth time, and tomorrow we are probably going back. And tomorrow would be the 4th time. So it's reaching my limit. My mother just called. Now it's 3:46 PM. Matthew just went down to the putting green to do something. So we might not play on the course today. I hope we do. My back really hurt this morning on the driving range. I hit a lot of Nike range balls but I still didn't feel warmed up. So I just hit my 56° and my pitching wedge the hole time. I just noticed a water that's sitting beside me on the floor. I put it there this morning, but I forgot to drink it. I know the kids are coming really soon. I am going to stop writing for now. Cheers.
