"Magnetism"

  • Words pass by travelling through normality Smiles entice for the want of lingering But to touch would mean to burn... Fire provides distance, fire it’s our median, Fire is our bona fide affection for the one’s we truly love Still, we’re one without the other Two strangers in this quadrangle, We’re strangers to resist temptation Two strangers, “she’s alluring”, We’re strangers, “he’s enticing” Two strangers forever wanting... A hidden city, forbidden to enter Knowledge of the unknown, its magnetism Appealing like water come summer days But to taste the water is to drown with consent... Water keeps us apart, water it’s our median, Water is our bona fide affection for the one’s we truly love Still, we’re one without the other Two strangers in this quadrangle, We’re strangers to resist temptation Two strangers, “she’s alluring”, We’re strangers, “he’s enticing” Two strangers forever wanting... Fire and water, you need one to have the other Fire and water, perish with connection Conflictive, a union would be illicit Still, we’re one without the other Two strangers in this quadrangle, We’re strangers to resist temptation Two strangers, “she’s alluring”, We’re strangers, “he’s enticing” Two strangers forever wanting... Never having... Never having you... ***** Yes, well, i wrote this song from memories of my own experience. But in the end, thats all it is.. It's just magnetism. People make mistakes when they feel they are forever drawn to something illicit knowing it can never be. In turn however, we learn the tragedies of heartbreak laid upon oneself and our true partners because of our foolish actions. We learn to never f*** up again no matter how strong a temptation arises. After all, if tables were turned.. How would you feel?
