• well, to begin this little journal, I must say this website is fantastic. Music is such a beautiful thing, with so many meanings and layers. To be able to discuss it with fellow music lovers is a really great idea, and in my short stay, I must say I love it. I'm a teenager from northeast ohio, and musical intrigue is really not apparent where I live, which is all well and good, but once and a while I have a desire to discuss my favorite songs and what they truly mean, or mean to each individual anyway. That's another amazing feature about music, it's meaning is ambiguous and varies from person to person. Nobody is wrong, anybody can gather their own meanings from a song. No matter what your mood is, there's a song for it. Happy? Upbeat rock or hip hop to get you motivated even further (of course that's also good for when you're sad). Feeling melancholy? Perhaps a song with a more somber feel. Angry? Well there's always metal and hardcore. But I digress, perhaps one of the best parts of music is it's ability to be interpreted differently by different people.
