A Profile of Katherine Pierce

  • Winds howled, singing songs of loneliness into the midnight air. In the cemetery, a young man sat, sent there on a dare from his friends. Little did he know that this dare would be his last. A twig snapped. The boy, oozing bravado and false arrogance, demanded the identity of the fellow trespasser of the night. His eyes widened as a very beautiful woman approached him, kittenish with feigned innocence. Hair and eyes and skin all dark, draped with designer fabric, she was the picture of beautiful death. Eyes like melted chocolate gleamed centuries of refined sin. She spoke to him, voice sweet and high, wit sharp as obsidian. He fell for her act, for the lovely demon posing as an even lovelier angel. Eyes bleeding suddenly into shadows and blackness and EVIL, she pounced on him, piercing his throat with her teeth and claiming his soul. Afterwards, she wiped blood from her mouth and went on her merry way. After all, Katherine Pierce didn't give a damn about anything or anyone other than Katherine Pierce.
