• I've come to the realization that no one I know comes to this website. I come here often to look up lyrics to my favorite songs to see what other people think about them. I have this idea that songs, no matter their intended meaning, can mean something far more to the individual. This idea of great meaning (intentional, implied or otherwise) in songs is starting to get to me. I hear them and instantly give them an attachment or connection to someone, some place, some event in life be it good or bad. I'm starting to ruin seemingly great music by tacking these attachments and meanings to them. I think I'm just being bitter. I suppose that's what makes music so powerful and moving but sometimes I don't want to think of the worst moments in my life when I listen to my favorite songs. It's a double edged sword and oh dear how it hurts.
