"Oh, you'll take the high road and I'll take the low road
And I'll be in Scotland afore ye
For me and my true love will never meet again
On the bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomand."
- Loch Lomand, traditional Scottish song
I'm obsessed with this song. I'm in the school's bagpipe band, and we play this song often. Short story even shorter, I fell in love with the song. It's so enchanting when played on the pipes, and at the same time it's heartbreakingly beautiful. The lyrics are so sad, but the song itself is haunting.
