  • just had some teddy grahams. i'm wearing a west side story shirt. hmm. song of the day- Black Mamba- The Academy Is... oh, a young William Beckett and his apathy for his record. This is a very young the TAI... so stop thinking this is ABOUT A GIRL or shit like that. this is very much from their Almost There phase, and I liked it that way. After Santi, it was over. :[ sorry, fast times at barrington. the guitars take from a new-york sounding pop-punk sort of blaze, and the drums are soft, but there's definitely a piece of the puzzle as to why the academy is... sounds like this. this is one of the sparse songs by said band that actually curses, but william beckett's voice is definitely sounding wonderful, young or not. i'd give Black Mamba a listen and a buy/download, as well as their albums Almost Here, and From The Carpet EP. music review new] burn after rolling- wiz khalifa (hip-hop) B.A.R.- Wizzy K i haven't heard of wiz khalifa, and i hadn't until yesterday when i visited friendly mixtape provider DATPIFF.com and it was a sponsored boy. so i gave it my daily download and when i finally got a listen i decided to pump the title track, BurnAfterRolling this song is good, the whole mixtape is full of weed and drinking references, but with the slow beat and medium flow, wiz does his tape some justice. he hasn't exactly taken off yet, but hey, that's okay. it's not fire, but it's hot sauce.
