I have to recommend this (for now) scarcely known band to whoever reads the journals on this website: The Senate. The band consists of two guitarists and one stand-up bassist. Among fans, their music is widely known as "face-melting acoustic riffage" - and it lives up to the name!
They've released two CDs that are on iTunes: These Cold Winds and Live At Solstice, both of which, in my humble opinion, are absolutely amazing!
