• Well, today ended up running pretty much like my others do, with a couple of exceptions... You know those rare few songs, the ones that you can listen to for hours on end and never get tired of? I found another one today, this one brought to me by Evanescence. The song title is "My Last Breath" and it is quality. For anyone who has ever wanted someone to know what they would want to say if something were to happen that would take that chance from them, this is the song. The song is just absolutely amazing. This isn't really all that happened today, but music is my release. I'm a poet and a musician. Some people go to therapy to release what is inside. I used to, but I've found that all I really need to let out what gets bottled up inside is merely a pen and my collection of CDs. For anyone that has ever needed a release, but didn't know where to turn... try writing it down. You may think that you won't be any good, but you'll never know if you don't try. Some of the best poets are the ones who just did it to get the feelings out from the enclosure of their soul. Myself, I wrote some more poetry today. I have never been that artistic. Well, at least not with a brush, or with the skills of drawing or painting. The discovery of the skills I contain, when put into words, came as a shock even to myself. I'd had enough of bottling it all up and just started writing. Sure enough, a poet was born out of nothing more than the instinct to pick up the pen and write. Well, I'll stop this for now. I don't guarantee a journal entry everyday, since I work and all. I will try to remember to do this more, however. -- Voltage Spike
